UCI Prayer

Almighty GOD, eternal FATHER, my refuge and my fortress, hear this diver's prayer. Guide and protect me as I go forth to do Your will. Inspire me with toughness and enthusiasm to perform the duties I am asked to undertake. Make me steadfast in my commitment to You. Give me the wisdom that will help me be competent, skillful and decisive in all that I do. Create in me the desire to do Your will so that I may be just, merciful, and humble towards my fellow man. Let others see me worthy to be called an Underwater Criminal Investigator who is committed to protecting, serving, and defending those in my community, my state and my country. Hear this prayer O LORD, May my profession always be bound by honor and forged with pride.
