UCI's Public Safety Dive Rescue Specialist course (PSDRS) is an advanced Rescue course that specifically focuses on teaching the Public Safety Diver basic through advanced PSD dive rescue skills to include Self-Rescue Skills, Diver Stress, Diving First Aid and O2 Procedures, Rapid Response Techniques, PSD Assessment, Cold-water Near Drowning Emergencies and Response, Rescue Readiness, Managing an Emergency, Equipment Considerations and Familiarization, Rescue Procedures, Egress, Underwater Emergencies, Search Patterns, Family and Media Communication Skills and more.

We believe that in order for you to qualify as a PSDRS, you must be professionally trained and equipped to not only properly respond to water emergencies, but to survive them as well! At the end of the Public Safety Dive Rescue Specialist course, divers are certified as PADI Rescue Divers AND Public Safety Dive Rescue Specialists. No one does it better! The price of the PSDRS course is $649.00. If you and/or your team are already certified as a Rescue Divers and you just need the Public Safety Dive Rescue Specialist training, the price is $349.00.
