This UCI course will meet at 8:00 am for lecture at the Spotyslvania Sheriff's Office, 9101 Courthouse Road, Spotyslvania VA. 22553. Their telephone number is (540) 582-7115. The rest of the week the students will be at different location training and searching in quarries, lakes and rivers actually searching for stolen property and other criminal evidence while assisting police departments throughout Virginia.

Please advise them when making reservations that you are enrolled in the Underwater Criminal Investigators course through the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy for special rates.

The price of the Underwater Criminal Investigator's course is $575.00. This price includes a copy of "The Water's Edge", all training material, licenses and diplomas. Students must supply their own scuba gear including full wet suit (or dry) with hood, gloves and two tanks. All search and recovery equipment will be provided by UCI.

Some other extra things to consider bringing with you include: a folding chair, sunscreen, snacks and water. Many students report for class under-weighted or with new or unfamiliar equipment. Checking out your weight requirements and equipment prior to class will save time.
